Basically Slim trained 2 students in an interactive demo that the crowd watched and asked questions. This was described as the most informative demo a couple of them have ever seen, because it wasn't just a presentation it was training. In addition to being one of the most knowledgeable folks I know, he sure has a bunch of interesting stories that will keep you entertained. I had the good fortune to ride with him from Jtrapper's house to an NTASE in Arkansas and back years ago. That was an enjoyable trip.

Oh dern, got me on the spot now, do i HAVE to say something nice about him? haha If you hang around him and don't learn something you didn't know before you need to quit trapping and take up something else! Just hope ya'll didn't let him drive that gator, he's a much better trapper than operator of a motorized vehicle! Not my circus, not my clowns.

rick olson trapper Joined: Apr 2012 Posts: 6,956 Northern Mn	Met Slim many times back 17 years ago maybe 16 he was traveling with Kaatz during the summer doing clinic's a trapper friend and I went to south central MN for it.Had a great time Morris Fenner,Brahn Bro's of SASK CA,Kyle and Terra along with Slim.Later that evening we visited around the dinner table at Tim and Nancy house,very interesting stories from them all.
