Taxidermist like them for some reason. I freeze any I catch and sell for $5. I have skinned in the past but when I got $.50 for a few I quit.
Wish I had more time to trap....

Tan them.I tanned a couple-they are easy to tan.You can make something out of them that wont take much wear and tear, like a womans headband.Or sell them as novelty items to crafters etc. Not real durable though but kind of nice fur.
Forget that fear of gravity-get a little savagery in your life.

Practice you skinning and fleshing technics on them. They are hard to flesh without damaging them be careful. With prices low, now is the time to practice so you dont ruin good fur later on whe the market comes back up........jk

I wonder how possum fur would tie on a fly? Maybe make some Zonker strips from it?

Congratulates on the grinners. The one with the black legs would make a nice hat. I wonder how [quote=DakotaBoy]I wonder how possum fur would tie on a fly? Maybe make some Zonker strips from it? I tie 1/32 and 1/16 oz jigheads with the longer fur. I use the with twister tails or live bait. You can run them under a bobber for panfish and trout. I don't stand in the water waiving a stick anymore. Lol

Get haul, Opossum fur is nice and soft. They make for good practice for learning how to put up fur.
I got myself a seniors' GPS. Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination, it tells me why I wanted to go there.
