With the plus 1" of rain coming tonight, I'm thinking of pulling my line today. I have a lot of sets back in on farms that get really greasy when it rains and I don't want to risk getting stuck or tearing up the farm roads. I exceeded my goal of 30 coyotes but had now hoped to hit 40 since I'm so close. I could hit that today but you never know. I do have to return to work Monday so would have pulled anyway. Continued good luck to all of you. After deer season, I'll probably put in some water sets for a change of pace.

Trap Setter, it was a good sized otter, never weighed it but it was the first male otter I've caught in a couple years. I've filled all otter tags the last couple years and this is the first male I can recall since 2017.

I like your trap weights Deerfly. They can serve double duty.

Got a call from a friend who has some live traps around his place to say he caught a mink and asked if I wanted it. So I head over there Sunday evening after hunting and was surprised to find this: He does live next to a mink ranch and I suggested he call the owner to see if he wanted it back. My friend said it has been running around for over a year and he want's it gone so in my truck it went. Never know what will show up next! Tight chains everyone! Dave
