If you guys like actual investigative journalism and are into cryptocurrency ,ponsy schemes and so on I highly reccomended this guy's videos. He's kinda goofy for the first few minutes but he's pretty much the closest your gonna get to actual journalism now days. And its better then 80% of what I see on tv.

Yes, a little corny at first, but glad I watched it.
My gut has told me all along there is something wrong with nearly the whole crypto industry (notice I said "nearly").
The concept of an anonymous fiat currency is a worthy thing. However, a whole bunch of carpet bagger sleazy bags have glommed onto the business.
I've always been able to spot Ponzi schemes a mile away.

Thanks for posting Wolfdog. I don't really know enough about crypto to critique, but the video had a very compelling argument in my opinion.
With the dollar all screwed up the way it is and how the government is printing and making money out of thin air; I don't see any reason why someone else can't do it as well.

The circulating supply isn't quite as worrying to me as the potential of tether, or all the other exchanges, and actual banks/fed reserves actual reserves. As a stablecoin that is pegged directly to the price of a currency, if i give you 1 USD, you give me one stablecoin if its pegged to the USD. The stablecoin supply should expand and contract as USD moves into and out of the system. Where the problem exists, which exists in any banking system, is if theres a run and there's not enough USD to cover then things can go badly.

Thanks to the monstrosity that is the Fed reserve... The bank run scene from Its a Wonderful Life would be a pipe dream compared to what's lurking today.

To me tether is more like an extra middle man in the crypto market. Would not recommend.
