So I found some old rusty traps on Facebook for 200 dollars and got it down to 175 did I get a good deal?

3 #0 longsprings
5 #1 longsprings
3 #2 longsprings
1 #3 longsprings
1 #4 longsprings
One really big trap never seen one like the what it is built I am guessing #5 coilspring
3 #110 conibears
5 #1 coilsprings
5 #2 coilsprings
1 #3 coilspring
I am not sure if they are any good but 3 coon lure 1 canine lure 1 beaver lure I found papers that the coon lure from 2014
And some of the wire mesh to go over traps
And luckily got a whole bag of trap dye! So I can dye them now.
And a woven pack basket with bait box
I need to get some of the traps into better working condition but looks good.

Hard to say without knowing the brands and condition but just taking a stab at it I think you paid full retail. That is for what used traps would bring in my area anyway. It might be a different market up north. As long as you are happy with it is what matters.

Tough to say, if all the traps are rusted like that but have strong springs they should clean up fairly easy. If all the traps are in good working order and the pack basket is in really good shape in my opinion you made an okay deal.

If the long springs are B&L and strong or there's some collectors in there you got a pretty good deal, as long as the pack basket is in good shape and not dry rotted. If they are average user victors, I'd pass.

Post up a picture of the pile.
