I learned a while back that you pretty well need at least two of everything to maintain a trapline.
If you have daily check requirements its a must.

I feel your pain had 2 weeks off to water trap first day the impeller goes out in the boat took it home fixed it next day set the line 3 day carburetor fall a part had to send one in ups red to keep going

seems like its always something. like boco said a back up plan is always a good idea. couldnt get my pickup into 4wd once. found that out after i drove down a steep river bank. used some handy trees and my bumper jack with chains as a winch. i got it pulled out of there but it took awhile. that day wasnt cheap.
