On a broader scale, if one is a conservative, you are being taxed without representation.

I don’t think PBS should be able to only hire left wing nuts as reporterjs. 100% of their little power house panel agree with more gun control etc. Somewhere around 50% of population does not agree with them but are not represented by them. If they are funded by the public their employees should represent the public. IMO So you think someones employment should be based on their political view?

The MN Historical Society is a left wing propaganda tool as well. They are funded by the MN tax dollars. I think they need to be a little less biased towards the left wing. https://www.mnopedia.org/thisday Everything has to be about gays and lesbians on this page or how some conservative is bad.

I think it’s based on their political view now.

It's the only television national news I get at my hunting cabin. Yeah it leans way left, but it's not hard to wade through it. Otherwise, it's just our local channels and the boys, dog and I get tired of those.
I like the other nature and history shows on PBS. The constant Indian propaganda gets a little old every November. But I generally learn something even on those programs.
It's good for the brain to hear opposing viewpoints. The funding issue is a little trickier. Pretty hard for me to wade through it. Even Nature with their gloom and doom sky is falling BS on almost every subject.

NPR is the only radio available in much of Alaska. It's no wonder rural Alaska has such a bad alcohol problem. I'd probably turn to drinking too if all I could listen to is NPR.

Climate change, gay rights and exploited indigenous peoples seems to be their primary focus.

It's all I get at my camp. I use it to watch WeatherWorld on weeknights. WeatherWorld is Pennsylvania's most comprehensive, most accurate weather program.
Eh...wot?
