Make sure you use your eye drops and best to keep patch on eye. In a week you will be getting better.

All the Dr's at the hospital I spoke with could not give me an answer on what triggered
the Bell's Palsy- All said them didn't know.

If they can't figure it out, what chance does ignorant trapper have of finding the cause.

Like my Angio Edema from earlier in the year, it is idio-pathic.....AKA cause unknown.

walleyed

they don't even know the cause at mayo clinic.

my eye lid won't close so it's open 24/7....can't blink either

Put the ointment in but can't keep the eye patches on.

adhesive won't stick and it keeps falling off.

gonna try gorilla tape next.

might have to shave my eyebrow.

that will be scary !!

Try the ointment while you sleep and preservative free artificial tears throughout the day. Eye patch at night if you can. Hopefully you’ll be able to close it enough to prevent injuries in a week or so. I’ve seen some unlucky folks take a couple of months though.

I got it in 2006 about 2 weeks before retiring. When I went to the emergency room doctor heres what he said.

Sometimes its brought on by stress or driving a lot in to the sun for many hours a day.

My case was stress. In October my mother passed away after many months of being in a nursing care. After a brain tumor. And I looked after her.

Then the last of December my wife passed away with a blood disorder. The other stress issue. We had been working on this issue all summer.

I had been making trips back and forth to Detroit hospital for 2 months. After the bone marrow trans plant earlier that summer.

What that doctor said was often if we have a virus in our system the muscles will react to it.

My brother got hit twice. Once when he was younger. Then a lot later in years.

Good look. Do what the doctor says. I used scotch tape to close my right eye at night. Sit doesn't get too dry.
