Great haul,hope you got paid well,lots of money there castor and fur. That is a weeks work there to skin and board that many.

So….did the buyer come and get them….or you had to load a Flat Bed with 3 tons of beaver ?

So….did the buyer come and get them….or you had to load a Flat Bed with 3 tons of beaver ? We split them up between two half ton trucks and a 14 foot trailer. The frame on my old rusty trapping truck ended up bending on the ride to the buyer haha

Guess you will re-pac those wheel bearings before next fall if you carried all that weight 150 X 30= just over two tons Looks like the water levels were down in the lakes you were on.
Thanks for sharing your trips work Yes water levels were way down after the dry summer we had it amazed me that some of these beaver were going to winter in the ponds with what little water they had. The low water made it possible to set channels and deep runs with conibears that you normally wouldn’t be able to. The low water really limited the beavers travel routs
