I’m looking for the center ac vent for a 1974 Plymouth Barracuda. I believe from 70-74 Barracuda and 71-74 Challenger is the same. I have called all the mopar salvage yards etc with no luck. If you know where one is please let me know. I’ll buy the whole dash if I have to.

I’ve got wanted ads on several mopar sites. I thought someone might know of one sitting behind a barn somewhere.

Look up Classic Industries. Lots of Mopar stuff.

IMO , looking to buy the whole dashboard might be a more fruitful search. Soft plastic trim of the era is very hard to find , especially a smaller piece out of a bigger sub-assembly. I doubt the aftermarket makes a center vent piece. E-body Mopars are highly in demand when restored.

Seen a 'Cuda and Challenger or two in my own collection in years past.

Emblems from an earlier A-body I've owned. ('64-'69)

Edit to OP - have you considered looking for a similar part by doing a search for a different model like a B-body ( Charger-Coronet ) or other model ? The vent piece may or may not fit but Chrysler used a lot of smaller pieces across their product line. Opens up your search net a bit bigger.

I've got a few buddies here that are Mopar nuts. I'll try to remember to ask them, you never know what they've got hidden behind the barn

They are not a reproduced part or have they ever been. Some of the aftermarket ac kits have a similar vent but the behind the dash connection doesn’t use the factory ductwork. They did not use the part in any other vehicle just the ebody however the 71-74 b body can be used to rebuild the ebody housing. I can find the b body ones but I still don’t have the correct housing. Mine is Mia. I didn’t take the car apart just trying to save her. You never know what them mopar guys got hidden on the shelf.

I talked to his buddy Tony the other day and he didn’t have any.
