Almost no one wears a mask around here right now. Wednesday we went to 3 stores. I saw one guy with a mask in Kroger and one guy with a mask sitting in a car in a parking lot, by himself.

I think this is getting to the end . I hope the omicron variant will act as mother nature's vaccine . It's extremely contagious and appears to be relatively mild compared to the other variants . I bet after this sweeps through the vacciaineted will stop getting sick .

The Spanish Flue pandemic ended when a milder, but much more contagious strain evolved. Nearly everybody got it; and survived with antibodies I'm not making any Fauchi-like predictions; but it sure sound like Omnicron.

Agreed. All these scare tactics are exactly that. The 100 employee vax requirement will be shot down. The new scare tactic is compassion burnout for the unvaxxed by hospital workers.

You are right; this is how the natural course of these viruses work.

However, the Democrat Party has nothing else going for them in their direction; the past year has been a political train wreck for them.
They have no option but to keep this story going in order to distract people. Of course that is until the virus dies-out due to the natural order of things; then they will claim to have fixed it. Probably just in time for the mid-term elections.

The only conclusion I can reach is that by constantly putting out scary information the government in charge is hoping people will think they are keeping them as safe as possible. Improve their image. Shut down thriving business and give everyone money fresh off the presses for example. Over exaggerate the danger of a new flu then save people from it.
