This weather has been crazy!!!! Yesterday it was +42, today +30 and snowing! Nothing seems to want to move right now except for the otters.

Picked this one up in a Bronce set. Had it right beside a choke point with a 330. He wasn't going anywhere

smalltime there was a 220 over a hole in the ice beside a 330 that choked down the channel. It hit the 220 and spun around into the 330

Nice. I had one that was going around a 280, (after seeing a buddy get caught there, earlier), so I put a V-14 in the go-around, a foot to the left of the 280.
Next check, it hit the V-14, then dove into the 280.

Always pays to gangset even if two traps are on one critter-like insurance policy,lol.

Anybody ever had a wolverine do this? A wolverine in a foot trap is a gamble, one in a 330 not so much!

Nope but I did get one in 2 footholds. One by a front foot, and one by the tail!. To make matters worse, I didn't see that happening, and had 10' of chain on both traps. What a mess!!!

Since I switched to MB 750's I have never lost a wolverine. I have had them in both a snare and a 750.

I thought the same thing.

If you have time could you take a picture of the wolf on the board or once you have it off. I would like to see it again!

Well the weather isn't cooperating to much for trapping! Last run it was snowing pretty good they said 1-3 inches. Today it was snowing all freaking day and we got maybe a foot. In between the storms the critters ran hard! But of course my gear was buried And now they are calling for 5 days of ......RAIN!

Did manage to pick up a little red.



I had placed a 220 over a crack in the ice on a creek knowing something was gonna come out of it. Sure enough walked up and saw it was fired got all excited thinking it was a otter only to pull up a muskrat



Going to wait for this chinook to bow to dig gear out again.

I run a little swamp back behind my house. Normally I catch anywhere between 8 to 20 fox a year back there. This year has been totally off. Picked these two up today. The light one decided to hop through a snare so hip caught. The pretty one the voles decided they were hungry and went in right behind the left shoulder blade!



The chinook arrived and it is warming up pretty good here +39!

Man that muskrat is fluffy. Bummer about the damage to the fox.

Well decided to make a run today and hit half of my line. Talk about miserable! +39 and raining. I hit the creek and it was already starting with overflow, not looking forward to hitting the lakes next run.

This is a Bridger #5, I had re made the set Wed that is how fast the snow is going!
