Paul, my dodge MAY go that far too, but I get nervous getting very from home in it. Still not burning oil. Had a hard life. Been in some real bad country a bunch. No complaints. Just everything wears out if you use it enough. Especially the demands a trapper puts on a primary trapping vehicle.
Those who would give up essential liberty, to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety. Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790)

That Tacoma has gone through one clutch, one transmission, three alternators, Seven timing belts, four water pumps, one radiator, one fuel pump, two sets of shocks, 170+ oil changes, one power steering pump, brakes, spark plugs, 40,000 gallons of gas, one set of ball joints, one idler arm, one rear main seal and two sets of valve cover gaskets. It uses a quart of oil every 2,000 miles. That old girl has been on a lot of logging roads.

Wife drives a 2008 Kia Sedona we paid $500 for. I use a $1500 2003 dodge Dakota and a 74 Ford F-250 my kids got for me. We’ve had the dodge and Kia for about three years, first time we had any vechile that was newer than 1998
