Didn’t want to hijack the fishing lure thread but I’m curious if any of you have fished one of these?

I've got a lure like that, that's colored differently. I only used it a few times, because I never caught anything with it. I did have bass follow it, without striking.

If I'm not mistaken, that is a "power packed shad". You'd use it like a popper, each yank and of the line will get it flipping it's tail.

A friend of mine brought me 4 or 5 home from a trip to Florida. I caught a few fish on them. More or less like a Jitterbug.

I remember that I missed setting the hook with my last one, it slammed into a rock and split wide open. Haven't used one since.
