Been a while since I been on here and I’m trying to buy some traps for a good pricecuz my girl just got started on her own yote line. Can’t figure out how to post, the new thread button isn’t there for me
This definetly isn’t the place to ask this, so I’m sorry.
Anybody ever hear of a live mouse set? Basically what I do is take a live mouse, put it in a juice bottle with some straw and a handful of grain, poke a hole in the cap, and bury the bottle under a rotten stump with just part of the cap exposed. I proceed to bed 2 #2 coil traps attached to drags in front of the setup
It’s basically like a dirt hole set but with a live mouse. The mouse will stay alive for a week or more in that bottle and even after the set remains good
Obviously take up your plastic bottles when your done, but I’ve found this set is a killer for fox, yote, coon, basically anything that will eat a mouse
I’ve thinned the mouse population in my cabin as well as put up some fur and meat with this. Good trick imho. Learned in a book called “survival poaching” by Ragnar benson

That is because you broke the rules on the trap shed and your posting privileges have been revoked.

Never used a live mouse.

Send wheelers a PM. He is in charge of fixing Trap Shed posting problems. You probably broke rule 8 and didn’t realize it. Happens to a lot of folks.

Good Luck.

That set wouldnt be legal in SD, and we have very relaxed laws.

Are you sure it is a legal set in your state?

I got myself a seniors' GPS.
Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination,
it tells me why I wanted to go there.
