They like Honey and PicAnic baskets Interestingly enough, this one walked up to the bird feeder but never touched it or the suet basket. I did do a walk around most of the buildings though to make sure he wasn't holed up in the garage or something.
I have nothing clever to put here.

I hope your pet Ground hog is safe, you would not want to loose him and have another 6 months of winter.
on another note; I would put that bear in the class of "suspected rabies" since it is one of the symptoms that is expected. To wake up pre-maturely from hibernation. In that case nobody better go in the northern Minnesota woods. I find it common to run across multiple bear tracks thru the winter here. Bears are not hibernaters in the true sense of the word. Osky

Black bears are not true hibernators. They wake up constantly through out the winter to feed. Males are known to sleep in falls downs, root balls. There was one found in an Bald Eagle nest. I would highly doubt that critter has rabies. I would imagine it's tummy rumbled and went out looking for a mid winter snack.
