Landowner wanted to ride SxS amd show me improvements...duck impoundment, food plots, feeders, etc. We rode until an hour b4 dark. Two adjoining landowners (small farmers) want coyotes thinned. So, also will set their fields nearby in a few days. Now my 1st supper at camp.....canned spaghetti & meatballs, saltines, and a can of pineapple juice.... Got all gear situated andjust came in camp. Will start pounding em in at daylight in the morning. Meals will get a little better over next several days. Gonna have grilled beaver backstrap with mashed taters and green beans soon. There is a well maintained dam, easy to get to, with nice shallow channels up and down. Only brought eight 330s and four 280s, though. Last edited by Swamp Wolf; 02/03/22 11:24 PM. I just got inside camp....after getting gear ready for tommorrow. Fixin to eat me something... Here are a few pics I took today. Walkin'the wash... Tapered dirthole sets Coon gear (like to use grape KoolAid powder on the marshmellows but DG was out....had to go with pink lemonade... Thank God For Your Blessings! Never Half-Arse Anything! Took SteelTraps idea when I saw these small paint brushes at Walmart the other day. Been using em at some flat sets. I like em....great lure holder qhen smeared on. Pee runs off it. Looks like a small piece of burnt wood...eye catcher with a turd added at many flat sets today. Numerous deer feeders...but not much coon sign around them. Even though they are dispensing corn.
