Thanks for the visual. I was not properly picturing what Beav was describing. Indeed those look like a nice setup. I wonder how it is to pull them out of frozen ground

They will come out with no problem. Just give them a tap on top and they loosen right up.
If you have any of those pop up blinds that have seen better days those fiber glass stays work great.
