If i want bait and time of year is right [/quote] I haven't been trapping as long as most on here but after about 10 years of digging holes I started fooling with flat sets for a change up. I started catching a few with it, kept modifying my sets to experiment, started catching more...soon they were every bit as effective as my go to dirthole. Now my line is 95% flat sets and I'm catching more than ever with fast, simple sets that stay operational in bad weather! I'm a slow learner lol but I couldn't agree with your comment more.
