For the money, not sure there's enough definition to distinguish between a wolf and a coyote, where one is protected and the other is not. But the video is cool!

First off thanks for all the kind words fellas, I realize it's not trapping related, but I enjoy chasing fur and sharing the experience with friends!

And for those who asked about additional information on my equipment
Optic: Pulsar Trail XQ38
Rifle: Daniel Defense V7Pro .223 / 5.56 and I'm shooting Hornady 73 grain eld match ammo and it's been very fur friendly
Tripod is a Feisol CRETAC with an RRS leveling head on top to securely hold my rifle

If you've got the calling bug None of the Items are "needed", I started with a red light and a set of Walmart bipods on the good ole 22-250 but gradually got more into it and started upgrading some items until I eventually jumped into thermal.
Someone made a great point as Far as thermal optics go there is definitely options out there that will give you allot more clarity although in its defense the recordings you see here are definitely not as crisp as physically being behind the scope, I can tell the difference between a Fox, Coyote & Domestic dogs and yes have at times passed up questionable animals that just didn't set right with me to pull the trigger on, I guess I'm just glad I don't have to worry about wolves for now lol

Thanks again guys!

Neat video! How far away will the scope pick up a coyote? Looks like you bagged a bobcat or two as well.

I don't see complaining about the music any more rude than complaining about the guy who complained about the music. That mirror is available to you also.
