Wonder if all of the tracks in that sandy road were the ones leaving out?
Sure figured you would have had more than 3 by now

LOL! The South might as well be known as ‘possum kingdom. Not unusual to pick up triples or even quadruples at travel hub stops with gang sets

With all the traps out and not a lot of skinning to do, I have some free time each afternoon. Will probably fish more and definitely walk for more artifacts.

Heard coyotes right at dark north of camp, but that is off this property. Heard some a couple mornings ago at daybreak...also across dirt road on another's property.

I wish they would come out and play.

Patrick, what’s your nearest town? I used to trap some plantations on the Savannah down in that neck.

Girard, Ga is closest small town. Waynesboro is about 25 miles from here.

Holy smokes! I used to trap a several hunt clubs just south of that on the river. The SC side. Just below the Savannah River Site. I trapped near from Millet down to Tillman. Tons of pigs in that area. I started making more money on trapping pigs than coyotes but did both.

SRS is directly across from me.

Landowners here have killed over 3 thousand hogs since the purchase in early 2000s. Killed 900 plus in one year when the cell cameras came on the market.

Wet mess here this morning. Rained all night on and off....with more to come this evening. Ground is much wetter now than when rain occurred last Friday.

Remakes mighy have to wait until tomorrow.

Dreading the long SxS ride this morning as its 38 F here and still light rain....

Better than the freezing rain I am facing this morning. It is 33 at my house but trapping ground is 35 miles north and 29 degrees there. Light freezing rain falling over a wide area and trees are already shiny with ice. Supposed to rain all day with a high of 38. The roads are fine at home and I am hoping they had enough heat in them from the sunshine yesterday to not ice up. Gonna be cautious anyway.

Should be another small critter check today, I had a few. Warm and cool rainy nights equals possums and coons. Not one of the cameras went off last night though. Sorta strange.

I’m guessing your catching the specs in one of their ponds. Don’t know what it is about managers over big plantations or hunting clubs, but they all have a Spec pond, lol. The ones I’ve fished, we’ve caught them up to 17”. Fun, fun fishing!

A muddy mess today. About 40% of sets messed up. Too wet to re-do. Tomorrow is half-way check. Will re-do inoperable sets tomorrow. Gonna have to pull some sets in river bottom muck...cant remake in that mess.
