Very nice Swamp Wolf. I am having some JC Conner shock springs And rod swivels put on some MJ 600’s. How do you like yours?? The chains on most of these Bridger 2s are my custom chains that I removed from Sleepy Creeks and Victors before I sold them. I had em on all foot-traps for live market fox and coyotes. Some have PIT springs and some have Connor springs. The Conner springs are much better built than the PITs. Some of the PITs have been bitten/crushed some, but never compromised. I will have a few dozen for sale...soon. Im in the process of removing all of the springs. Got about 8 or 9 dozen to remove. Will probably get this completed after this season. Will have #3 US chain and 3 crunchproof swivels on each trap.

This thread is awesome. I wish someone would do this for ADC work. I've been wanting to follow one of those ride alongs, too. Technically this is ADC with a fur trapping flair...lol.

Patrick I'm 60 miles east of you directly as the crow flies . . . what a mess this morning. They were calling for 2 to 3 tenths of an inch. I had over 1-1/2", and we got more after daylight. Had a double at my first 2 traps, and nabbed an otter. I think I'm going to have to take dry dirt in the morning in order to remake. I was dreading riding in the truck to check, much less a side by side. I had to go back by the house and change clothes before work.
Other than the moon, weather for the next week will be perfect. Keep after them, we appreciate your posts.
Happy Trapping . . .

If rich people eat better than this then I want to be one. The bass and spec filets, hushpupies, and a beer.

Nice catches. That mud looks nasty. Like trying to walk on a sheet of dog crap. Hopefully it doesn't smell as bad as that.

Nice catches considering the mud. Those little mudballs will clean up.
I would rather deal with that than the 10" of snow and freezing temperatures we have here.
United we stand,divided we fall.
