In other words, if you understand what is going on, your head should be spinning.
If interest rates do not go up, inflation will get worse.
If interest rate go up, inflation will stabilize or go down.
Both scenarios suck considering our debt and present economic situation.
Tough actions that will ensure loss at the election polls is what it will take and not one politician will do that because people don't want to fix the problem. I would be ok if interest rates went up. That's just me.
It really is a shame where we are right now.
How many lies will people believe before they realize their own idiocy?

If inflation is caused by temporary supply constraints then it's transitory. Transitory means prices will recede. I don't see it happening.
What is happening now has little to do with supply issues and more to do with monetary reactions to the covid.
Recession in 2023? I give odds of that better than even and I give decent odds it will start 3rd or 4th quarter of 2022,. That is if we aren't beginning phase now.
Not only does the fed generally over react it takes them too long to react.
It would be beneficial if the fed stayed out and let the freemarket dictate

With Biden in charge it’ll depend on which way the political wind blows. It would be nice if the sob remembered what his responsibility is and to what and who.

If the Fed is able to pull off their qe tightening and raise rates 3or 4 times this year I predict a deflationary environment. If that happens the will blow the lid off

Hopefully we have another great depression. Unless we get Trump back it's one of the few ways to actually fix our economy.

I don't think the fed will raise rates enough in 2022 to make a difference. They may raise it 4 times, but at a 1/4 percent each time, isn't going to do sqwat. The stock market will falter a little but not nearly enough. Inflation will continue until the economy starts to slow noticeably by election time and the end of the year.
This time next year is when economy will tank, along with the stock market, along with the dollar.
I'm hoping the house and senate will be controlled by red at that time and maybe some good changes may come from it. Democrats need to stay in power and it needs to tale so bad people are truly starting. Maybe that will correct the corse of this country and wake people up.

Excellent . Now that never gets old I wish they would have went with "Brian" instead. I can almost recognize the look that I get before someone says it too me and then we have to laugh. I'm ready for some new material. It should be easily obtained with the head moron stumbling mumbling around all day.

If Brandon and crew get re-elected it will be a shame. It is Brandon’s watch. His problem. Everything is his fault. That is what you shoulder when you are the President. Funny how things can change in a year. This sign pretty much sums up stupidity of the times we live in. We haven’t seen anything yet. We are just getting started. IMO Unfortunately this is where we are at. I heard a commercial on the radio last night. It said in freezing weather wear a hat, facemask, gloves etc. To prevent frostbite. You don't say, thought this was common knowledge for anyone over 5.
