Desperate families have gathered at a jail in Ecuador which police are trying to bring under control after fighting left at least 116 inmates dead.

The battle first broke out on Tuesday, with prisoners using explosives and firearms on each other.

Families are seeking news on loved ones but with some victims decapitated or dismembered, identifying the bodies could take days.

The gang-related violence is the worst in Ecuador's history.

What is happening inside the Guayas prison complex, also known as the Litoral Penitentiary, is unclear.

Officials said on Wednesday the jail was back under their control, but early on Thursday neighbours said they had heard explosions and gunshots.

Shortly afterwards, police said it was sending 400 officers back in to "maintain order".

Hey Marty, what color are your eyes? There are certainly clans in Afghanistan that have blue and green eyes. And are as white as anyone else. Now, are these good people? I don't know. I'm sure there are some very good Afghan refugee people and I'm sure there are some real dirt bags. And I'm sure there are some that the Clowns in Action want here for specific things. I guess we'll find out sooner or later...

Last year, I posted some pictures of some Afghans showing that many have fair skin, blond hair and light eyes. Many people get confused and say "white culture" when they mean Western Culture, which is European culture and the culture of the areas the Europeans have heavily influenced like Canada and the US.

There is no doubt that in America, most of the long term residents, of any race or skin color have adopted Western Culture. Most Hispanics will do fine here. They have a similar culture to the US. Most blacks here have European genes. Like it or not they are part of your more closely related, extended family, with whom you share ancestry back to the beginning. I have been around along enough to know that there are people who don't look much like me that I'd as soon be around as anyone else. As long as we don't start dramatically increasing our immigration numbers from the East and the countries President Trump warned against, the US will be okay. In small amounts, if not allowed to live in areas all there own, members of all other cultures will meld into our own.

We conservatives in the US would do well to not make the stupid mistake the liberals have of believing that all minorities are liberal. Some of the best all around people and staunchest conservatives were poor, minority children, who by their own hard work and intelligence succeeded. Character is not based on your outward appearance.

Canada, with it's tiny resident population, will be overwhelmed and become a mostly Eastern Culture country in a generation. They have allowed to many people in from countries such as India, Pakistan, South Korea, Iran and Syria, who produce more children. China will likely make enormous footholds in Canada and become a major problem for the US.

I don't believe all cultures are equally good. I like the Western Culture because people have a high level of freedom and opportunity. People also generally treat each other fairly well. Western Culture is the best at creating new products that benefit humanity, because it doesn't stifle creativity. Women are treated the best in Western Culture.
