LOL, not even close! A #2 Newhouse probably has stronger springs than a #4 B&L. Never used the #44 but I’ve been using Newhouse for over 40 years.

Yup, I prefer Blake and Lambs over Victors, but have used a lot of both. They both set easy over the knee. . . if you have know the technique. Would love to have a bunch of 44s, but my 4s work fine for beaver.

No Newhouse did, didn’t help that they also had those extended bases to deal with

Thanks for that demo. But, that #11 looks to be a bit weaker than these B&L 2's. Then again, you look like a big ol boy with some honkin vice grips ! smile
I cant squash one of these with one hand like that. I do put the on my knee but to one side, then the other.
Thanks again !

Little close to the ball bag? Bet it'll make you jump and make so incoherent sounds if you not paying attention.

That's nothing. You should see him when he hits the end of the chain!

I have nothing clever to put here.

One of these days I’ll do a video of setting a #114 and/or a #4 1/2 Newhouse.

Lol. 160. I bet. Got a picture in my mind of a bug eyed guy yipping around doing a newly discovered african tribal dance.

That's it and screaming words that would make mechanics and sailors blush.
