I've been 330 bit a couple of times. The worst was a #2 Victor coilspring that got me. I was fox trapping, and set the trap across my knee, lost my balance and leaned over and caught my belly. I was wearing a T shirt so it got alot of belly and I must confess it hurt. My buddy was no help as he was rolling on the ground laughing. I got it off but that night my wife saw that big horse sized hickey and had alot of explaining to do. I was just real happy it was my belly, if you get my drift.

if you wear something for gloves and it doesn't take much it takes most of the bite out of those.

the cut takes longer to heal than just a bang would

Setting for wolves with an Alaskan #9 I had the chain looped around a tree and was tucking the wax paper in and the snap sound and my index finger on my right hand felt the snap. Now what do I do I thought and is my finger still attached, I don’t know cause it is in my glove. In the silence of the moment I wondered am I in shock, I got to get out of this thing my thoughts turned to. I was able to get my knees somehow positioned with my free hand to get out. Again wondering if my finger was attached I got the machine started in the narrow trail between trees and turned around and headed the miles to the truck. When I got everything loaded, truck started I removed the glove slowly and my finger was flat to the bone but no other damage. That was my first time in the Alaskan # 9 hand in the trap club!

This happened just after Dean Wilson had gone to an 1/2” offset jaw thankfully.

Yep. Reminds me of the time I had a real bad hangnail one time. It kept hanging up on my sweater whilst I was trying to brush my bangs from my face. Hurt like the dickens. Worst part was that i know that I had nail clippers in my purse in the minivan...

You should start making your loop big enough for you to fit through, just in case. LOL
