I seen are local grocery had there seed potatoes and onions in

Last week of April for me if the soil is dry enough to plant and work. I have always tried to go as early as I could. This last year I waited a week and the soil was a lot more warmed up and sprouting was faster, more even and higher percentage. Now I plan to do a few early hills and wait with the main crop.
