Leave it at home. If you have to ask you shouldnt be carrying.
Probably clumsy and goofy with it anyhow.

I was in Lima once. Really enjoyed myself. Camped with friends. Drove my semi in bobtail leaving the trailer at a truckstop. Took a minute to convince the gate keeper to let me in with it. I didnt walk around armed but had a gun in my truck. Nobody asked if I had one.

GCP, and there in lies my consternation, in Ind. it can be posted but it is not actively enforced, warning and ejection on first offense, trespassing charges on second. I have no knowledge of the organizer and will not make my own assumptions about them, best (for me) to know absolutely.

Now to the greater point, our country's mish mash of gun laws. That's the real problem. I bet if one were to document all of them it would be as great if not greater than the tax code, and we all know what a simple document that is.

As for myself, I could care less about what problems may befall my person, but I will have family members to consider. In those cases I will always defer to absolute certainty. Meaning no offense to any individual or group. And truly that has been my only concern since I wrote the first sentence of my OP. Thank you for your input and info.

Sir:
Nobody agrees more than I, but you and I both know the reality of the situation. And that is what I am talking about, reality, not some internet armchair Rambo BS. Unless you are willing to go toe to toe full combat mode while standing next to your wife, with an armed LEO that can't hit a barn wall from inside the barn, then you will comply with orders. That is the reality of the situation, the point of my post is/was to insure the safety and security of myself and my family not argue about second amendment rights. If others desire to start a posting for that reason, well they have my blessing. The fact is they don't need it. It's just not my point or intention at this time. With deepest respect.

Maybe you missed my first post on this thread

I agree thats not reality. Just reminding people how much liberty we have so willingly given up. At least in many cases. Even here on TMan.
