Wifey is out of town, so it was a perfect time to make this. She's not much on fish. What are y'all having? wild caught shrimp, bay scallops, cod, oysters, stewed maters, yellow bell pepper, onion, salt, pepper, spicy V8 juice and clam juice. It was yummy!

I wish I could get fresh, wild caught, American shrimp here. Locally , I'm limited to mostly foreign grown, frozen shrimp. Some of it is virtually inedible from the chemicals they put it in. Walmart and Kroger constantly change the packaging and suppliers, so it's hard to get decent shrimp. As soon as I find some that's palatable, they only have something else.

I make something very similar only its spiced with Mexican flavors and I use clamato juice, and El Pato: Salsa De Chile Fresco Sauce they make a couple different ones and I use them all. Jalapenos , onions, cilantro, Mexican oregano and cumin then add a can of fire roasted rotel tomato's and what ever fish or shrimp we have. Sounds good.

I got the hams pressure cooked from a Porcupine the All Purpose Boy slew on our South 40 this afternoon. It was debarking some oak I don't want dead. I intend to de-bone, roll in flour, and brown it up.....then make gravy from the drippings and slosh the whole deal over a baked tater or two. My mouth is watering as I type!
