Nice picture Texas, was this near a remake set? As it looks like another coyote found something it was interested in and marked it and scratched back.

No Sir MChewk, it's a set that has been worked but hasn’t hit yet. The trap is not guarding the tuft of grass. You can see the digging at the set in the top left corner of the photo. Sorry for the confusion. I wanted to show a close up of the mark.. I will see if I can find a wide angle shot of the crime scene as well

Here's the location: The pan is at the six o’clock upwind of the attractant. The set was adjusted when the contestant(s) at this location showed a tendency to work the upwind side. There wasn’t a single track on the downwind side. That’s the reason for the reverse set. Wile E. came in facing the viewer at the twelve o’clock hour upwind of the trap. He dug a narrow depression extending out to the left of the tuft of grass. The prior photo shows the marks on the right side of the grass. There were no calling cards left that I could tell.

Cool pictures.
I still can’t understand why every set doesn’t have at least 2 bridger 3 sized traps though lol. In a kill em all, tricky coyote scenario every set i made would have 2 or 3 traps buried.
Again, very cool pics.

Tejas, Those coyotes are not interested in your offering.
They are looking for your traps......
