I agree with beav, it's the NTA hall of fame , it's about what a person has done for the NTA , have you [the person] been a officer , been on the board, been a NTA director, help plan a NTA convention, gone out and promoted trapping, many of these guys are great trapper's , many have done lots for there state , and belong in there state hall of fame, just my two cent

Would really like to see these organizations celebrate the trappers who have had the most overall impact on trapping, regardless of what brand / organization they chose.
That would be a move of strength, and class.
By using the mentality of... You didn't play with my club among clubs, so your excluded from being recognized is really short sighted considering some years none are even awarded (no inductees), plus there would still be plenty hall of fame recipients that put in most of their work in the honoring organization.
United we stand, Divided we fall.
My take, and just some food for thought.

I am not sure how easy it is to get on the boards etc. but I know from the two non-trapping organizations I belong to beginning getting onto boards, committees etc. is quite difficult as well. But then again I am quite black and white in my deeds and actions, that does not always work for some. I would add that having a job or career that allows one the time to take these positions also factors in. All choices we make including myself, but work full time and two or three part times makes it tough to commit the time. Thankful for those that can do this.

Its not that hard, getting someone to volunteer to be on boards around here is lile pulling teeth.
