To expensive for my air gun purposes. They look promising but I found with other fancy pellets they didn't expnab in game unless they hit bone.

I use air guns to save money and keep the boys shooting and out of my .22 lr stash. I buy a lot of Crossman pellets because I find them between 7 and 10$ a can. Last I looked the boys had about 4000 in cans on their dresser.

Didnt group well out of my regulated M-Rod but, when they did hit the mark, it was impressive. YMMV , every gun likes something different.

I will gladly feast on those who would subdue me.

One of my son's got a pack of plastic sleeved metal nosed pellets in a drawing a couple years ago...my Ruger Blackhawk breaker .177 will shoot through a metal drum with those babies! No experience with these though.

My number one requirement for pellet selection is, "How do they group?"
After that, I am open for anything which improves lethality.
Personally, I prefer the polymer tipped Predators for my 22 caliber. They group very tightly, and result in a rapid transition to room temperature.
I have used pellets with interesting looking hollow points (not as exotic as the tips of those Hades) with excellent results in both accuracy and lethality.
I went back to the Predators because they are easier to find for me.

I started using the Hades last year. Grouped great in my AA S510.
I had used the H&N Hunter Extremes for several years before. The Hades grouped a little better and they do more damage. Likely a softer lead.

My biggest problem is I'm still shooting my old Sheridan blue streak. Which is 5mm or 20 cal. So when I can find pellets I always seem to pay more. So far my gun has always liked the old yellow box pellets best. So I hate spending money trying pellets that never seem to like my gun. And of course the yellow box are selling at vintage price if you find them.

That's all I ever shot. Gun shot one ragged hole at 30 yards. Everything more expensive I tried did not group near as well. Seals went bad on my gun and it's been 20 years so I sent in in and got it fixed. Now no yellow box pellets are for sale. I am sad.
