This is along the shore line of a small lake and a wet land area, the hole is about the size of a baseball the scat is about 3 to 4 inches long. The hole is just above normal pool level, water line is about 4 feet lower now. There is active beaver bank dens and looks like older muskrat runs and bank dens. I did see a muskrat swim out of the beaver den this morning.

Is this muskrat scat or mink, not sure if there is any mink in North East, KS[Linked Image]

We have a few mink. not many but a few. That swamp south of Lawrence has a good population. Dont try trapping there though.
