That's what I've came up with right now but I think I've seen a selection somwhere else. I sort through and discard my searches if they don't fit my target of the moment. Clemson seed list

These are the only cutshorts I've come across. Not sure if the same you are looking for.

I see sandhill carries some shortcut varieties as well. One guy on a gardening board I'm on really likes the Tennessee Shortcut.

Thanks guys.

Cut shorts are an heirloom variety of bean. They are a runner bean and the pods fill up so tight with beans the bean seeds inside are actually somewhat of a square shape.

They're called cut shorts because the beans inside look like the ends have been cut off.

There's a white bean variety and a mottled bean variety.

Any of y'all southern guys familiar with what they call "greasy beans"?
Do they sound the same

Never grown cutshort or greasy beans. I know what they are but just not seen this far south or down in the flatlands. Seems to be more regional in the mountains.

Greasy are different than cutshorts. Called greasy because they lack the fine hairs, matte texture on the pods that others do so they look slick and greasy.

I know there's dozens of named varieties. Had a guy in the local feed and seed here asking for a pink tip greasy and everyone looked at him like he was strange.

330, another way of thinking of cutshorts is the crowder pea of pole beans.

With fuel cost going up then I would have got extra feed cause the base prices of feed has gone nuts plus the fuel surcharges are going to kick in soon

The carrot seeds that I planted last fall still have 4 feet of snow over the rows
