What gets me is most of those demanding the averages didn't even have fur at the sale. In these conditions we should be thankful there's still demand for fur. It's only going to get worse before it gets better. Enjoyed the sale as always Rusty. Well done.

There will always be somebody trying to saddle a dead horse. Imo and we are not careful the coyote will be next coon market there plenty sitting and a bunch more this year to add. This will take sometime to clear out.
Cats the A+, As in general there is not enough of to hurt anything all else are sellable but at a price , cheaper than anybody would like .

Thanks for posting the results. Interesting that the Greeks showed up to look over the cats.

The red fox avg. was better than the coyote, isn't that unusual for a western sale?

No wolves? Were there none offered? Just curious. Sneaky, did you sell your wuff? Wondered what a pretty wuff like what Sneaky caught were worth!

Crafters are the only ones pushing the market right now. Without them, the fox, skunks, coons etc. probably would not move at all.

Pretty sure all the otter being bought at the western sales are crafter bought as well. Feet-on, feet-off, no matter.

My fear of moving stairs is escalating!

Thank you for your willingness to share even with all the flack one gets for doing so. Good to see trappers working hard to offer markets for their trappers and their wildlife products. Also thanks to those that shared their comments on the different buyers, and their preferences etc. It helps explain why averages drop down considerably. High end stuff sells, low end stuff can be bought with not much risk and what used to be where most fur graded out is not wanted by either buyer as the investment is too much risk or ties up too much capital that is not used for something that will move.
