O I know, I've done that but egh . I will say though I need to order some more to practice cutting and stiching again. I'll tell you cutting netting just right and sewing it back so it all looks like that how it was made is something I've struggled with.

I think your numbers are off. If the chart says 86.6% of stretch you're going to be 5.196 inches when hung, which sounds more like it. When I hang turtle nets on a 50/50 my 15 mesh of 4" stretch end up at 52", approximately, which is 86.666%. The easy way for you to figure it is 24 divided by 5.196=4.6189 mesh.

The funnel and tail will be longer than the 5.196 since they collapse on each other as they get further from the hoop.
