You are so full of crap your eyes are brown!! How do you think they feed ? Their beaks are designed to shred flesh Guy I fish with whis dad has a permit to shoot them They were blinding and killing new born calves The eyes are the first opening on a carcass that hasn’t ruptured yet
You’re such and idiot you don’t know when to keep to yourself. I won’t bother responding since we all know you don’t care to learn anything. But if you think turkey vultures have sharp beaks and can tear skin, you should spend a little time using the internet to learn instead of trolling. Again, you’re confusing Mexican vultures with turkey vultures.

But if you think turkey vultures have sharp beaks and can tear skin, you should spend a little time using the internet to learn instead of trolling. Again, you’re confusing Mexican vultures with turkey vultures. Copied this from Wikipedia: "The turkey vulture arrives first at the carcass, or with greater yellow-headed vultures or lesser yellow-headed vultures, which also share the ability to smell carrion.[7] It displaces the yellow-headed vultures from carcasses due to its larger size,[70] but is displaced in turn by the king vulture and both types of condor, which make the first cut into the skin of the dead animal. This allows the smaller, weaker-billed turkey vulture access to food, because it cannot tear the tough hides of larger animals on its own." And this from the internets: Maybe this info will help clear a few things up.

What ?? Tearing flesh ?? Oh no it must be wrong !!! This makes my point ?! Wth Anyone that thinks a buzzard a turkey vulture can’t rip flesh hasn’t been out much If watched them rip a coon carcass in half Completely pick a striper carcas clean in minutes So magis you might want to do some vulture watching or stop calling the OP a liar Or do lots a favor keep your thoughts to yourself

Ever run into a feller who thinks that the one who speaks the loudest is right?
Let me quietly discuss what is the story behind the relationship between turkey vultures, black vultures, and whatever animal needs to be consumed. Typically turkey vultures soar above in the thermals, constantly testing the air for stench, be it dead animal, or delicious aroma of the byproduct of a newborn calf. It then homes in on the stench and ascends to it to see if there are edible bits which it can get to with its relatively weak beaks. While all of this is going on, the black vultures are paying close attention, and come to the picnic once the turkey vulture lands. They do this because they have virtually no sense of smell (like most birds) and use the turkey vulture to find dinner. The turkey vulture, which has a week beak, then allows the black vultures to tear open the carcass with their piranha-like beaks so everyone can eat.
This is not to say that a turkey vulture has never, in the history of cattle, poked at an eye of a newborn calf. It does happen, but almost exclusively to stillborn calves.

Maybeeee in Virginy but here the Dang Turkey vulture was the one lifting OFF our Whiteface calf and a bloody slash was right next to its eye. So here they are alone....no Black headed black vultures in MinneeeeSota

With wildlife it is unwise to ever say "always" or "never". I have dealt with all kinds of wildlife every day of the week for 30 something years and can tell you, with authority, that I find that I know less about them every day. Hows the Whiteface doing?

I hate killdeers also. Nothing ruins a nice evening fishing at a pond then a killdeer with a nest close or babies on the ground. Most annoying bird on the planet.

I wouldnt hesitate to excecute a vulture like that, and never bring it up to anyone, or any other bird of prey causing harm to my livestock or poultry. You could set a trap on a post if you thought no one would see....illegal doesnt actually mean wrong.

330 I move multiple nest a year when I’m planting corn so the planter doesn’t crush them. About June 30 when I get the rare occasion to go fishing I ask myself why. Lol

swampgas chili and schmidt beer makes for a deadly combo
