One quarter of the Book of Matthew is devoted to the time leading up to the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus.
The week builds to the pivotal moment when all the world would be forever changed, and Matthew records it in his Gospel to the Jews starting in chapter 21.
Jesus has arrived in Jerusalem atop a colt, as Jewish kings always did, and while today we know how the story goes because of written recordings, the people of that time did not.

Let all of us thank God for this week, almost 2000 years ago, and pray that God help all of us have a mindset and attitude like Jesus had. He emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, being in the likeness of a man, and humbled Himself to the point of death, even death on a cross (Philippians 2:3-8).

Thank God for Jesus.Without him we don't stand a chance at salvation.

Thank you Mark, and remember Christ road on a borrowed colt and used it to show the nation of Israel the humbleness of our lord, I believe this was a lesson to show that Jesus was paving and paying for a path to our salvation on a borrowed colt, leading up to the greatest love I can imagine.
