I went to the local Mennonite market which pretty much only carries off brand food they get as overstock. I wanted some “Hamburger Helper” all they had was Larry the Cable Guy cheeseburger dinner. I gave it a try and to my surprise it tasted the same or better than the name brand and was just as easy to make. I will look for it in the future- I would rather buy from a small business anyway.

Has anyone else tried his line of foods?

Does anyone know of any other off brands owned but country folks?

Ol Larry has some great cornbread and muffin mixes too... Popular in the Dollar stores in rural towns. Our Dollar store is Nicknamed the "Skidway Walmart"

you're only allowed so many sunrises... I aim to see every one of them!

I gave our local dollar general a nick name too. I call it PW ( for Pillager Walmart). You have to use your hood lingo to pronounce it correctly.
