I need to get some mole traps. I've lived here for thirty-plus years and never had a problem with them. I started noticing the mounds over their tunnels three years ago and in the last year the population seems to have exploded, tunnels everywhere!
Eh...wot?

Steve Albano's Trapline mole trap is my preference. Steve used to post on here. https://www.traplineproducts.com/My other choice would be the Victor Out of Sight trap. There's a learning curve to this on though as you have to open the tunnel create a "speed bump" in the bottom of the tunnel and position the pan over the bump so that the mole has to squeeze through pushing up on the pan. Then carefully covering the tunnel to block out light. Check the ADC archives there should be several archived threads on mole trapping.

Victor out of sight here as well.
