For the last year a group of scammers call my girlfriend 8-10 times a day. I've answered her phone, sound like Nigerians. You can hear others talking in the background. They claim to be from Medicare, but are trying to sell her various braces and medical test kits. Last weekend they called 84 times. She doesn't answer, but they keep calling. Always by different numbers. Anybody have any idea how to get rid of them. I even answered and told them I was an investigator from the Nebr State Patrol. That didn't scare them. She is disabled, so I suppose they think she is an easy mark.

I get a couple calls a week about my Medicare/Medicaid coverage. I just hang up. If it were that bad I think I’d change my number

That's what I told her. She's afraid they would get ahold of her new number.

Answer the phone and talk to them. Play stupid with them. Keep them on the phone as long as you can. Crack a beer and have fun!

The "Do Not Call" registry is a joke.

Is she blocking those scanner numbers? They change frequently but it helps some.

Every call is a different number. They are even using the numbers of our hospital and medical clinic.
