Most birds are hybrids in SD from what I have seen, I’ve read we have 3 subspecies here in SD
Was born in a Big City Will die in the Country OK with that!

Nice. How many tags can you get per year? We have to draw a tag here. Landowners get some priority on the tags but we still have to apply. There’s no fall season just the one tag if your lucky in the spring

I have 5 tags this year 3 prairie tags 1 bow and a Black Hills tag. Here you can work a lot of tags. In some of the remote places they are still a “draw” but become first come first serve after the 3rd draw those can often be double tags in the past I did not follow it much since they “improved” the system like they do.
If a guy really wanted to pile up birds he could hit the reservations for more tags some have great populations of birds.
