Wife put her feeders out the other day. We haven't seen any yet. Others in the area have. My brother is 15 miles north of me and he has them at his house since first of week. So there has to be some in my area. Just haven't shown up at feeders yet.

none here yet will get grape jam out, last year orioles left oranges alone and hit grape jam feeders for other birds

We have several different birds hit jelly here. Wife seen a catbird yesterday and they hit the jelly regular. Also purple finches and even seen robins on jelly.

Saw a nesting pair yesterday. Kept flying into and out of a boxwood. Must have chicks in there.

Been awhile since they have been around here. Use to walk the neighborhood and find their nest. Back in the day learned to put colour thread out and finding the nest was much-much easier.
They are one bird that has been effected by the large coffee plantations removing their over-wintering tree covers.

We see the oriel's come to the hanging flower basket that have
the fiber liners they pull fiber strings out to use in the nest.

We also see cardinals doing same thing.
