Things like this is why lawyers are considered to be holding up bottom feeders. An investigation by the Texas Attorney General is current at this time and will not be pushed under the rug by him as the people in Texas are fed up with the situation. Of course lawyers have been and still are filling their pockets defending illegals coming across who are carrying cash money and lots of it.
The Texas Bar Foundation is alleged to have knowingly given donations to entities that encourage, participate in, and fund illegal immigration at the Texas-Mexico border, and potentially using taxpayer dollars received from the State Bar of Texas, which appoints the Foundation’s trustees.
If true, this is likely an improper use of charitable funds because the funds are diverted from their intended — and potentially unlawful — purpose.
The Attorney General is granted broad powers under the Texas Constitution and by statute to investigate charities to ensure they are operating for the public benefit and in compliance with state law.
“Unfortunately, at the very time that our state is facing an unprecedented border crisis and our brave men and women are serving Texas in Operation Lone Star, it appears that the liberal State Bar’s handpicked cronies are misusing charitable funds to make the situation even worse,” stated Attorney General Paxton.
“I will not let this illegal behavior continue any further.
Sit on your horse on top of a ridge, look out across the country and tell me there is no God.

What I have trouble understanding, is if these people have that kind of money , Why are they leaving a good income to come here . In other words, there's some corruption going on here .

That was my first question as well. Something smells worse than a lawyer.....and they stink.

I once knew a lawyer and he was doing a good job and I told him so... but of course I was asked to leave the room so they could close his casket....

If you decided to leave the U.S. and liquidated all of your assets -- how much would it be? I don't have much to show for my 50+ years here -- but if i knew I wasn't coming back and wanted to travel light -- 30-40k would not be out of the question. . I have worked with alot of farmworkers (in the old days) that told me they kept about 300 in their shoes - just in case they were deported. I am sure that would not get you any help getting across the border now -- but back then gas was 1$ and my new toyota was about 13k.

Human trafficking is big business don't kid yerself. So long as border patrol are up to their ears with massive swarms of bodies, any tunnel or pack train the cartels utilize that shift goes another day without discovery

Of course people ridicule lawyers because they are afraid, ignorant, insecure, and helpless in their own plight. Hopefully, every person who ridicules lawyers will get the privilege of paying double when they go sniveling for help.
