Hillmans Desert Rose Band made a lot of good music.Quite a few country hits.
When Dolly Parton wanted to record Turn Turn Turn, she called in Mcguinn to record it with her.

Ne4ssy,LOL ask Rally Hess--he calls me longhair. As far as the length--look at the Trapper and Predatormcover,Trapline 1999-2000 nd The Trapper and Predator Caller cover-October 2000.Also an FTa cover in the early 2,000. Plus there ar 20 or 30 articles I wrote for TPC between 2000 and 2010--usually some photos of me in them.
And if you google my name you may see some photos of me doing demos at conventions.
Never had a VW--bicycle was my first trapping vehicle--followed by a 64 chev,a 66 chev a 69 impala a 74 novs a tt chev scotsdale an assortment of trucks--but never a vw.
Now my hair is thinning, but like many of my friends and fellow trappers---I don't need a hat to hide a bald head.
HIPPIES AVOIDED MONEY. Trapping has helped me do the same--but I keep on trying.

I read this thread yesterday, Sunday. That evening one of the cable channels plays ed Sullivan reruns and the birds were on singing Turn Turn Turn.

The Byrds had two #1 singles in 1965.Mr.Tamborine Man and Turn Turn Turn. And to think, that was57 years ago.
Roger played both Saturday night and they still sound Great.
