MT for instance, that I know he hunted. I hunted there as well this year. I check Mt regs Way I read it yes more than one bird but NOT more than 1 in possession coming to and from the truck. Think they have blocks/regions you buy separate tags for. So if you changed blocks you could kill another one the same day . https://fwp.mt.gov/binaries/content/assets/fwp/hunt/regulations/2022/2022-upgbrd-final-web.pdfPossession Limit while in the Field (CR) - No person shall possess more than one daily bag limit while in the field, or while returning from the field to one’s vehicle, hunting camp, home, etc. Possession Limit (CR) - The number of birds that may be possessed at any time in any form: fresh, stored in freeze

in WI they sell bonus tags fill as many as you purchase
I so wonder about 21K miles maybe got an extra 0 a the end 2100 would still be a good trip with time to walk 632 miles
or he included all his scouting miles over the year
he could have also used 1 of a different shell and just not said it
a friend of mine got his first turkey with a ball peen hammer he started tracking a wounded one when he saw it crossing the road to his brothers farm went out and caught it by hand had a turkey tag for that week so he registered it and ate it
even if some of the numbers are wrong it is a good story

I enjoy turkey hunting and do some traveling for that purpose but what he is doing is a little extreme IMO. But if that is his thing, more power to him! I will go a lot slower and smaller scale and take time to enjoy and savor the experience. YMMV Dont be a hater QBD!!! Not hating at all, just not my style Swamp Wolf. A lot of jumping to conclusions on this thread without having the facts or an understanding of regulations in lots of states also.

Yep you’re right. It never happened. Disregard. It’s an impossible task. I’ve learned my lesson.

If you have a a statewide tag and a region tag you can fill them on the same day. I did that very thing 11 days ago.

PF,
Bird seed aint turkey bait, cracked corn is put out for the deer, my land = my game, a lot of sunflower seed should be OK...
...I've spent nearly 30 years trying to explain fair chase and the North American model of wildlife conservation to people in southern Georgia.
Maybe you Indiana hunters/fishermen/trappers are more understanding.

Clay, Im about to get on tractor too and head down to disk the chufa plot to hopefully get some volunteer regrowth. Looks like getting chufa seed is gonna be a problem this time. Had a bag ordered but they're a no-go, so far.

Yep you’re right. It never happened. Disregard. It’s an impossible task. I’ve learned my lesson. not saying it never happened , the one number is a little questionable and if it is all solid then even more amazing had a guy type he split 1500 cord of wood a year one time , he really meant 150 cord but hit an extra zero when it was pointed out he realized he was an extra zero 150 cord a year is still a lot my point was it is an amazing feat either way and a good inspiring story for people to chase their dreams of chasing birds

Just bought 52 gallons of farm diesel. $255.50 This is ridiculous. I cant afford fertilizer for the food plots. And getting the seed needed looks to be a challenge.

can you disassemble your gun ?
in WI when we used to have case laws you could take your gun apart many a time we would get a ride and just take 5 seconds to pop the barrel off the 870 then get in the truck
no case laws since 2011 long guns need to be unloaded in vehicles
we do have no over night parking so you can get a parking ticket in many places
I'm not sure. Regulation just says no uncased guns after 1pm during spring gobbler season. Would probably be easier to carry a gun case than a gun broken into multiple pieces.
