I have an ar and will be keeping it and my 30round mags....thanks anyway. Perfect example that refutes Jbyrds claim about someone not agreeing with someone else on opinion and they jump on them. Me and Marty don't agree on a few things. But, we agree on this....

Gun info was just released on Fox news. The nut bought an AR on may 17 and another one on may 20th. 375 rounds of ammo day after that .One was found inside the truck another he used to kill the precious children. Guy shot his granny that used to work at the school. The door he went thru was unlocked. He went inside ONE classroom and shot everyone in there. Some are still battling for their lives in the hospital. Apparently he knew how to get inside.
I'm not going to poke the bear on here with the AR issue but the gun unfortunately did what it was designed to do. Yes anything can become a weapon of death but somethings are capable of killing in a shorter time span than others...... AR' at the consumer level is designed for sport shooting. Get educated on a subject before making a comment like that. Maybe stick to sec sports. Smdh.

I understand very well what the 2nd A was written for. I also know there was not any weapons in existent when it was written that held 30- 100 rds.
You might want to read one shot one kill. Then bad mouth a bolt gun. But I got broad shoulders. I don't see the need for an ar style with up to 100 round drum cap. Unless you want to kill people. Call me what you want. I've lived a blessed life and never needed to Rambo up and brainwashed into tactical life style.
K snow what shooting you referring to?
Is Canada going to invade us? mexico? give me reason to go get one and 10,000 rds of ammo. Oh wait can't those people have hoarded it into unaffordable prices.... Them you have the choice not to buy one.

If, instead of AR Rifles being the gun of the day to blame, what if all these shootings happened with standard Lever Action Rifles ? Would the Politicians be demanding to ban Lever Action Rifles ??? They don't seem to understand that it is not the Gun that is to blame, how about starting with person that did the shooting ! Yup. Back in the day my squirrel gun was a M37 winchester break action 410. I would hold two extra shells between my last three fingers of my shooting hand and could eject and reload by feel. I regularly could keep up with my brothers model 12 pump 12ga for the first three shots. Its not the tool but the user.

A friend of mine lost his kid in an automobile accident due to the oncoming driver trying to send a text message instead of paying attention to the road. Do you think the dad is irrational for asking to ban cell phones and automobiles? What say you JByrd? Should you toss your phone and keys in the closest trashcan?

Being from KY, you should know that. Almost 100 years ago, a nut killed 38 elementary school children in Michigan. Bath school massacre. It ain't the tool.used, it's the nut doing the killing. He killed even quicker w/out a firearm God bless their little souls.
