50 years ago that guy would have been committed involuntarily by a judge and a psycho babbler to a state hospital. Would likely have been there for decades. Even if this guy would have slipped through the cracks most of these dangerously insane would not. More guns, less guns is all just nonsense. Inanimate tools are neither the problem or the solution. Refusing to care for the mentally ill among us is a big problem.

Quit trying to apply logic to someone that is deranged. They are not logical. You wont ever understand the path their thinking takes any more than they will understand yours.

Arming people in our schools may lower the body count. It wont eliminate it. More guns is no more a solution than less guns.

Well I see the usual cycle is happening.... again 3 no 4 ? Mass shooting in these last 2 weeks ? Mmmhmm what's going on behind the scenes this time ? What's the government doing they don't want us to notice?
Fist a shooting where it was apparently racially backed where the shooter live streamed it to a twitch and who was taken in alive then one where the shooter was a trans teen and I super conservative state ?? All right when gas prices are soaring,where running out of baby formula,COVID is dying down and war in the Ukraine is dying in popularity.Call me a conspiracy theorist but..

More guns in more places equals less bodies. Less time for nuts to shoot helpless fish in a barrel.

Its obvious that no one has any idea how to stop the random violence.
Somewhere there is a root rot driving it..That is what needs to be addressed,but it is likely way too late unfortunately.
