Saw this while we were out in the antique stores today and I admit I had to stare at it for a minute before I figured out what it was…

Lol, yeah it’s a kangaroo, I just didn’t make the connection seeing it out in the hills of Tennessee for a minute. . First time I’ve seen the pelt of one and I was tempted to buy it just because and then I saw the look the wife was giving me.

I have nothing clever to put here.

Funny. I took one glance at it and knew it was roo, long before I scrolled down and saw the tail. Must be something that's stuck with me.

When I was a kiddie, I had a koala and a wallaby ~ stuffed fur toys. I remember the man in the shop telling how they were stopping doing the wallaby's. I'd just got the last one. Said they were changing the law. Because ~ get this! ~ It seems they made the koala's out of wallaby skins. Wallaby's were koala!

Local gun dealer once showed us this weird, long, skinny arm, with this little paw on the end. Asked us what we thought it was. Sandy sort of coloured hair to it. Blowed if we knew.

Of course, You've guessed it now! grin

I ate a kangaroo tail a few years ago. Greasy.

75 bucks, no idea if that’s good or not. Texture was about like a muskrat’s underbelly. Still thinking it would be a good conversation piece in the shop..

Cheap for a tanned skin.
Could make some nice shearling type fur hats out of it.
Likely chrome (best) tanned if done in Austrailia
