Any Lever Action Rifle that holds more than 10 rounds in the tubular magazine, is now illegal in NY

What happens when you have the right to bear arms but they’re all illegal to own?

In reading through that mess, they only exempted the .22 caliber from the 10 round limit on tubular mag capacity. NOT the 17 HMR. Lucky enough to have a Winchester 9417 Rifle ? That gun would now be illegal in NY. So are a lot of the Henry Rifles, Winchester Rifles , even the old Browning bl-92 is now illegal in NY

When's the lawsuit?

Heck, pretty soon all my guns will be on some kind of list. Getting to the point where I just don't care anymore. Guess I got the come and get me attitude. Back when then Safe Act got enacted and everyone was supposed to register certain semi automatic weapons, there was just about no compliance anyways. Most local police even said enforcement was a joke and non existent. Making criminals out of ordinary gun owners. I for one will defend myself and my family with any means I deem fit.

Hopefully you will be allowed to plug the tube to just hold 9 rounds. Some states limit the amount of rounds (esp. shotguns) when hunting by allowing a plug in the tube

Not that it's right... but I'd think it would be pretty simple to modify the rod with a plug of some type inside behind the plunger that limits the capacity to 10 rounds.

It's unfair for the laws of a entire state to be decided by clueless, big-city libtards. I have always been a proponent of an electoral college on the state level. Just like the federal electoral college, it's the only way country folk's votes carry any weight. The lack of state electoral colleges actually skews the federal electoral college in favor of the large urban population centers and their overwhelming number of D voters.

I doubt it will ever happen but that's some election law change I could fully support.

I live in update NY and I love the hunting and fishing opportunities here . We have so much for the outdoorsman. It's a shame it's run buy libs . The city controls everything it's also the reason why it's so expensive to live here . I would leave here if I didn't have family. I for one will never comply with any unconstitutional law and I'm willing to die to protect that right .
